DESCRIPTION:KVC Kentucky’s 2018 Resource Family Conference will take place November 9th – 10th\, 2018 at the Griffin Gate Marriott Resort & Spa in Lexington\, KY. This biannual event is an opportunity to celebrate our foster parents and nurture relationships among our foster families while providing training\, support and fun activities for our youth. \nThe Resource Family Conference is a unique learning experience where caregivers and youth are inspired by nationally renowned keynote speakers\, receive continuing education training\, develop an invaluable support network and experience family fun and bonding in a relaxed setting away from home! For our kids in care and their foster siblings\, it’s a fun and rare time to be “spoiled.” Youth will be treated to a variety of fun events where they can enjoy time together and just be kids! Learn more about RFC. \nWe are excited to announce our keynote speaker\, Sheryl Woolverton\, LCSW! \nSheryl is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Life Coach practicing in Lexington\, Kentucky. SUMMARY:2018 Bluegrass Wellness at Work Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Is your company up for the challenge? Bluegrass Wellness at Work is a five-week fitness challenge for Kentucky companies aimed to improve employee health in a fun\, spirited competition. \n \nEmployees participate by recording their daily activities in 15-minute increments\, via our App or website. Participants can also sync their personal Fitbit or Garmin device to the App for effortless point tracking. \nOne week after the challenge ends on June 10th\, the results will be tallied and we will hold a celebration to announce the winners and bring you together with fellow competitors! \n \nThe company that has the highest level of participation in each size category will be awarded custom trophies and bragging rights as one of Kentucky’s Healthiest Places to Work. \nBest of all\, 100% of the proceeds from the program will benefit Kentucky children in foster care and families receiving behavioral healthcare services with KVC Kentucky. \nOur challenge is designed to work hand-in-hand with your company’s current wellness program. DESCRIPTION:The GoodGiving Challenge is an online giving campaign that engages the entire community and makes charitable giving easy and fun. The Challenge is a partnership between Blue Grass Community Foundation and Smiley Pete Publishing.
