SUMMARY:Step Into Parenting 8-Week Class for New\, Young Mothers
DESCRIPTION:Step Into Parenting is a forum for questions and answers\, education and support. New mothers will learn positive parenting skills and positive childcare techniques. Classes are open to young\, single mothers ages 14 to 24 who: \n\n\nare pregnant\nhave open cases with Cabinet for Health and Family Services\nwant to better understand their children’s behavior as related to stages of development\nwant to learn and understand different techniques in discipline\n\n\nClasses are Monday nights beginning Feb 29 and ending April 11. Free childcare and dinner are provided each week along with fun activities for moms and children. \n\nSchedule:\nMonday Nights\, 6:30pm-8:30pm\nFebruary 29 through April 11 (No class on March 28 for spring break) \nLocation:\nThe Gathering Place in Immanuel Baptist Church\n3100 Tates Creek Road\nLexington\, KY 40502 \nTo Register for the class\, call Whitney or Tanya at (859) 258-7837
