SUMMARY:2017 KVC Resource Family Conference
DESCRIPTION:This year\, KVC Kentucky’s Resource Family Conference will be held in Daniels\, West Virginia in conjunction with KVC West Virginia. \nKVC’s Annual Resource Family Conference is a wonderful training opportunity for KVC foster families. Resource families (also known as foster or adoptive caregivers) will learn a range of new topics such as helping youth feel safe and connected\, promoting healthy brain development and resilience\, and partnering with other members of a child’s support team. During this time\, children will enjoy tons of fun and games! \nLEARN MORE \n\nThis year’s keynote speakers will be Bob and Beth Hughes Noone. These two spoke at the 2015 KVC Resource Family Conference and will discuss how to understand and care for children who have experienced trauma\, how to handle stressful situations\, important information about adopting from foster care and more. Bob may also be talked into performing some songs on his guitar! \n\nInterested in supporting children and families at the Resource Family Conference?\nWe need donated items\, volunteers and monetary donations!
