Each year, KVC serves over 20,000 children and families across Kentucky! At KVC Kentucky, there is strong emphasis in the therapeutic implementation of evidence-based therapy, assessments and programs.

Step Into Parenting 8-Week Class for New, Young Mothers

Step Into Parenting is a forum for questions and answers, education and support. New mothers will learn positive parenting skills and positive childcare techniques. Classes are open to young, single mothers ages 14 to 24 who:
- are pregnant
- have open cases with Cabinet for Health and Family Services
- want to better understand their children’s behavior as related to stages of development
- want to learn and understand different techniques in discipline
Classes are Monday nights beginning Feb 29 and ending April 11. Free childcare and dinner are provided each week along with fun activities for moms and children.
Schedule:
Monday Nights, 6:30pm-8:30pm
February 29 through April 11 (No class on March 28 for spring break)
