Training and Consultation
Providing Best Practices in Behavioral Healthcare and Child Welfare
Through the KVC Kentucky Academy, professionals have the opportunity to receive continuing education units to maintain licensure and grow in their respective field.

We believe that staying up-to-date on current best-practices is imperative to improving outcomes for Kentucky’s children and families receiving behavioral health and child welfare services. We emphasize the importance of evidence-based practice and value the opportunity to provide professionals working in human services with continuing education that will enhance the work they are doing with Kentucky’s children, families and communities.
Our highly skilled instructors are trained in a variety of evidence-based assessment and interventions. KVC Kentucky proudly offers professional continuing education to our community partners on both individual and group basis.
Our trainings include:
Targeted Case Management Training (Twelve Hour Core Curriculum, Six Hour TCM training for SED, SMI and SUD)
*These courses have been approved by the Department For Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities to meet the requirements outlined in 908 KAR 2:260.
Ten Hour Comprehensive Community Support Training
*This course has been approved by the Department For Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities to meet the requirements outlined in 908 KAR 2:250.
Supervision for Clinical Social Workers
*6.0 Hours Board Approved CEU’s for Social Workers. This course meets the LCSW Supervision course requirements outlined in 201 KAR 23:070.
