Become a Holiday Hero with KVC Kentucky!
Help make the holidays brighter for Kentucky children and families in need.
The holidays should be a time of joy but for many families facing crisis, this season can be especially difficult. That’s where you come in. Join KVC Kentucky’s Holiday Heroes program and bring hope, comfort and joy to the children and families we serve.
By becoming a Holiday Hero, you can help ensure every person we serve receives meaningful gifts and feels remembered and celebrated.
What Is the Holiday Heroes Program?
KVC Kentucky’s Holiday Heroes program connects generous individuals, families, businesses, churches and community groups with children and families we serve throughout the state. By becoming a Holiday Hero, you can help ensure every person we serve receives meaningful gifts and feels remembered and celebrated.
How You Can Help
It takes approximately $160–$200 to sponsor a child for the holidays or fulfill a child’s wishlist. This year, we have 300 children whose wishes need to be fulfilled. Every contribution helps a child feel remembered and celebrated.
- Sponsor a child, sibling group or entire family
- Make a monetary donation and let us do the shopping for you
- Donate gift cards, including Walmart or Target gift cards, for last-minute needs*
*Tip: Gift cards from Sam’s Club or Costco may help your donation go further. Please check with Laura about which gift cards are most useful.
Your generosity supports children who have experienced abuse, neglect or other family challenges, helping create positive memories and moments of joy.

No time to shop? You can make an online donation or purchase items directly from our Wish List and our volunteers will make sure every supply goes to a child in need.
