About Us
KVC Kentucky, based in Lexington, is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to child welfare and behavioral healthcare. KVC Kentucky’s mission is to strengthen families, prevent child abuse and neglect and support mental wellness for both children and adults. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including mental and behavioral health services, family preservation and reunification, all delivered in-home with a focus on safety, permanency and the wellbeing of children and families. Founded in 1999, KVC Kentucky boasts a 25-year legacy of service, consistently enhancing our work through quality improvement. We uphold values of dignity, respect, honesty, and integrity, delivering innovative and effective services that are culturally sensitive and respectful of each child and family’s strengths and values. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our accreditation by The Joint Commission, the gold standard in healthcare.
