Meet The Foster Parents

Join KVC in welcoming our newest foster parent, Rebekah! Rebekah currently lives in a small town with her “fur babies” and is anxiously awaiting the first child who will be in her home for foster care. Here is a little more about Rebekah:

What are some of your hobbies?Bear with cubs

I enjoy cooking, taking walks in the woods or at a local state park, and spending time with family and friends.

Why did you choose to do foster care?

I feel every child deserves a safe, loving home especially in difficult times.

What are some of your favorite activities to do as a family?

We enjoy hay rides, going to state parks, cookouts, and bonfires with family and friends.

If you were a superhero, which would you choose and why?

I’ve always thought it would be great to be Superman because you could fly anywhere and save people in danger.

What would you tell someone considering foster care to encourage them to take the next step?

What do you have to lose? The joy of seeing a child thrive, the hug from a little one, and the satisfaction of knowing you changed a child’s life forever.

Congratulations Rebekah! We wish you well on your journey with KVC! To learn more about becoming a foster parent and helping children in Kentucky foster care, click here.
