KVC Kentucky is pleased to announce, that as part of our continued plan to provide outstanding mental health services to our clients, we have added a psychiatrist to our team.
Dr. Marc Cruser officially joined KVC’s staff as the resident psychiatrist in early December. He brings with him over ten years experience assisting children and adults with their mental health needs. Dr. Cruser earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in 2003. After earning his degree, he worked as the admissions officer at Eastern State University before joining the medical staff at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.
During his time at both medical facilities, he was part of the telemedicine medical staff for Appalachia. As a part of the telemedicine staff, Dr. Cruser provided psychiatric services for patients in rural areas that otherwise might have been denied professional help.
Dr. Cruser came to us at KVC Kentucky from St. Claire Regional Medical Center and has also opened his own private practice. Our clients will now be able to access his services via in-person sessions and through our new MyLink telehealth system.
KVC is proud to welcome Dr. Marc Cruser to our team.
