Overview of Services

Throughout the state, nearly 20 percent of Kentuckians are in poverty, and many struggle to meet basic family needs. In addition, Kentucky residents struggle with mental health issues at a higher rate than the national average. When untreated, illnesses like depression and anxiety can lead to substance use, suicidal thoughts and other health concerns.

KVC Kentucky is a private, nonprofit organization that offers a range of community-based services for children and families. Our team of professionals collaborate with a wide range of partners from state leaders to community members, and advance child and family wellbeing in measurable, meaningful ways. KVC Kentucky is a part of KVC Health Systems, a family of nonprofit organizations working to ensure every child is safe and connected to a strong family and a healthy community.

For over 22 years, KVC Kentucky has provided an array of services that target the problems that families face. We positively impact the lives of over 12,000 children and families each year by providing in-home behavioral healthcare, substance use treatment and family preservation and reunification services. KVC Kentucky is committed to strengthening and supporting the well-being and vitality of Kentucky’s children, families and communities through our high-quality, impactful services designed to empower clients by building on their unique strengths.
