Outpatient Therapy
Professional, discreet, diverse and trauma-informed care to help those in need.
Outpatient Therapy is an opportunity to work one-on-one with a licensed Behavioral Health Professional to process and work through barriers that arise in life. These services can focus on ways to promote healthy communication, establish coping skills to handle stressors encountered in life, manage and regulate emotions and work through any other mental health and substance misuse.
If this is an emergency, dial 911 or call or text 988 to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Trauma-Informed Approach
Our trauma-informed approach to outpatient therapy understands and responds to the impact of trauma on people’s lives and provides a complete picture of a patient’s life situation. This is important to provide effective care and improve outcomes. Our team develops a collaborative care plan, which is designed to help children live successfully at home and in the community, and adults leverage their support system as much as possible.
Evidence-Based Interventions
Our safe, caring and welcoming professionals treat children, adolescents and adults with interventions targeted at their specific needs. KVC professional staff are trained in a number of industry leading evidence-based practices which will structure the individualized approach given to each patient. We incorporate the following evidence-based practices into our daily work at KVC:
